High Plains BrewHoff 2016

From the organizer:

high-plains-brewhoffThe 3rd Annual High Plains BrewHoff is the first and longest-running home brewing competition and festival in Kansas. Ticket holders sample and judge from nearly 100 unique brews from competing brewers all over the region.

Live music from Whiskey for the Lady and local food vendors round out the festivities.

Free tickets available only at Brew Lab, 8004 Foster St. during regular business hours. (That’s 11:00 am–7:00 pm T–F, 9:00 am–7:00 pm Saturday, 9:00 am–3:00 pm Sunday.) Purchase the official judge’s tulip glass in advance for $20, and skip the line for VIP entry. Adults only event.

While they say it’s free, if you want to sample the homebrews, you’ll have to buy a $20 “judge’s glass”. Which isn’t a bad deal. It’s officially not a public event, so go to Brew Lab, say hi, and get a ticket. The BrewHoff will be following the fall festival parade in Old OP this year so be prepared to park and walk to the event.

If you’re interested in pouring your own beer and participating in the competition, contact Kevin from Brew Lab.
