From the organizer:
Twas The Thursday Before X-mas
Twas the Thursday before X-mas, and all through the Station,
not a hipster was texting, or enjoying a libation.
All taps were set, filling the wall with Boulevard brew,
in the hopes of St. Danner, and his merry beer crew.
The bartenders were set, glasses at the ready,
while visions of cut offs made them feel a tad unsteady.
And, Mullin with his abs, Davey with his brogue,
joining all of KC, for a day of beer rogue.
When, what to everyone’s eyes should appear?
But, himself — St. Danner — along with two, surly, tipsy reindeer.
More rapid than Pliny, the beer did flow,
until Midnight — an extra hour open — for your hometown pride to grow.
“On Foeder! On Collabs! On Cab Cask! On all the best,”
to Bier Station’s calendar, you must go, to find the rest.
But, I heard St. Danner exclaim as he disappeared down the street,
“I hope you enjoyed my visit — and if not…don’t Tweet!”
As a bonus, Pete Dulin will be at Bier Station signing copies of his books Kansas City Beer and Expedition of Thirst.
